OCTOBER, 2023 – MINISTRY UPDATES

DEAR FAITHFUL FRIENDS OF THE  MINISTRY,

THE LOVE, JOY, AND PEACE OF OUR LORD JESUS BE WITH YOU NOW AND ALWAYS.

TIME HAS WINGS. IT FLIES SO SWIFTLY. NOW WE ARE IN OCTOBER AND SOON CHRISTMAS TIME AGAIN. ADVANCED CHRISTMAS GREETINGS TO ALL OF YOU.

THE WORK OF THE LORD HERE GRINDS ON. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. OUR SAVIOR IS COMING SOON. WE NEED TO WORK HARDER IN SHARING THE GOSPEL TO THE LOST. GOD DOES NOT WANT ANYBODY TO PERISH IN HELL. HE IS GIVING TIME TO THE HUMAN RACE TO REPENT AND BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. II PETER 3:9. AND WE ARE HIS MOUTHPIECE, HANDS AND FEET TO SHARE HIS UNCONDITIONAL, RECKLESS LOVE TO ALL PEOPLE ON EARTH. LET US ALL OCCUPY TILL HE COMES. LUKE 19:13.

CHURCH PLANTING:

Our pastos are focused in sharing the Gospel to the villages where there are no Christian church yet. Our vision is to plant 30 churches by the end of 2025. We now have 22 churches planted in different villages. Lot of opposition from the enemy as we attack his territories but our Lord is faithful in protecting and guiding His servants in the frontline. Soon, we will dedicate another new planted church in the village of Baring. Please pray for our pastors in the field.

CHRISTIAN ACADEMY:

The Christian school just opened last month of September. The Aeta children came back from their summer break and there are lots of new faces. Our enrolment now is 120 students. We cannot exceed this number because of lack of teachers and classrooms. Please pray that our Lord will provide new teachers and classrooms. This school provides free Christian education to the Aeta children in the Kindergarten, Elementary and High School.

AETA CHILDREN’S HOME:

The 120  students in the Christian school stay in the Children’s Home. The ACH provides free foods and shelter for these children. The children go back to their villages every end of the week and come back every Monday. Some who are near the school go home in the afternoon after their classes. We have 10 staff in the ACH and volunteers. These volunteers are the parents who come and help in cooking, cleaning, and washing.

SCHOOL OF THE GREAT COMMISSION:

Praise God for the 20 students of this Discipleship School who will graduate this coming Sunday, October 8. Originally, we have 40 of them. But because of intense spiritual warfare, half of them were not able to finish the course. These SGC students who will graduate will help in their respective churches as assistants to the pastors, worship team leaders, Sunday school teachers, etc.

HANDEL HOUSE:

We have a lone disabled and abandoned man staying in the Handel House. His name is Miguel. Handel means Home for the abandoned, neglected and disabled elderlies. Vina, wife of pastor Arvin,  take good care of Miguel by feeding him, changing his clothes, praying for him, sharing God’s Word to him, putting him in a wheelchair and stroll him around. It is hard task but our Lord provides us the  love, strength and patience in taking good care of the elderly. Please pray for Miguel as he is getting older and weaker each day.

MEDICAL CLINIC:

Our son Immanuel is preparing for another Medical Mission this October. Please pray for him and the medical clinic. Immanuel opens the clinic every afternoon till evening. There are lots of poor sick people going to the clinic for free medical check-ups. As the Lord provides, the clinic also give free medicines to the poor.

OUR VERY OWN FAMILY:

Our precious daughter Praise is getting married with her fiancé Karl on November 4, 2023. Praise just arrived from one year scholarship in Scotland.

Our own dear granddaughter Leah is graduating from Bible School on October 8, 2023.

Our adopted daughter Jade is teaching at the Christian School.

Cora and myself continue to occupy till our Lord comes or till He takes us home whichever comes first.

Please pray for added strength to us, both physical and spiritual, as we do our task of administering the whole ministry and in pastoring another church in the next town. Indeed, there is no retirement in serving our Savior. We will continue to go and share His love to people as long as we have breath, strength, and a clear mind.

All of these we do for the greater honor and glory of our Savior. Thank you so very much for being our faithful partners in serving our Lord. God richly bless and reward you in return.

Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our Faith,

Wilson and Cora

Ministry Report as of February 2022

Dear Faithful Friends of the Ministry,

Psalm 41:1-3 are God's wonderful promises to us and we quote:

"Blessed is he who is kind to the poor, the Lord delivers him in times of trouble...

The Lord will protect him and preserve his life....The Lord will sustain him in his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness."

These Scriptures have been our source of strength and hope during the time that Cora and I had the covid. By the grace and mercy of God, He healed and restored us as He promised.  We got the virus in the second week of January. We did self-quarantine  for one week. Praise God we are now well. We know that our Lord healed us so we can continue to accomplish our mission for Him, that is, sharing His love to the lost and needy souls around us.

The Aeta Children's Home continue to fulfill its mission of feeding the Aeta children. There are two places now where our ACH staff are feeding the children. Here at the ministry compound, and the other one is in the villages. Our staff has also given Christmas gifts to the children in December. The Aeta children are healthy and happy. The parents and the siblings of the children were also included in the feeding program. They also received bags of rice and groceries regularly so they can cook foods for their kids in their homes.

The Christian Academy continue to fulfill its mission of providing free Christian education to the Aeta children and youth. There are 2 areas where our teachers go and teach the kids. One is here at the main campus, and the other one is in the villages. Education is the key for the improvement of the Aetas. We covet your continued prayers and support to this vital ministry for the children.

Our pastors continue to go and share the Gospel of our Lord Jesus at the Aeta villages and other communities. Soul winning and church planting are still their foremost mission. Through your prayers and support, we have given bonuses and Christmas gifts to the pastors, teachers and staff in December. However, many pastors got sick with covid in January. Praise God that they have mild symptoms. Some of them have recovered and some are still in quarantine. There is a surge of covid cases here in January. Please continue praying for the healing of God's servants in the frontlines.

Pictures below are the children reading their Bible, praying and having Bible studies in the villages. Their spiritual development is our foremost mission, that they will grow up to be Bible believing and God fearing citizens of their communities, wonderful testimony of God's power to transform lives.

The Lord's message to us this 2022 is His imminent return. Our Lord Jesus is coming soon and the signs of His coming are seen all around. His instruction to us is in Luke 19:13 - OCCUPY TILL HE COMES!

Our earnest prayer is the same with the prayer of John in Revelation 22:20. "COME LORD JESUS COME!"

Occupying till He comes,

Wilson and Cora
